Hello everyone!
My name is Nicole Laborte, and I am the current orchestra librarian for the Pacific Lutheran University Symphony Orchestra.
This is the travel blog for Pacific Lutheran University's KammerMusikere J-Term 2014 tour to California! We have been busy rehearsing nearly every day for around five hours in preparation for this excursion south. From Fauré to Sousa - we're having a wonderful time tackling a wide range of composers, time periods, and musical styles under the guidance of our fearless leader, Dr. Jeffery Bell-Hanson. Myself, with the help of some of my orchestra friends will be blogging our California experiences throughout our adventure from January 27th to February 3rd. Our Homecoming Concert (back at PLU) will take place on February 6th at 8pm.
